Dr. Gundry is the Director of the UNMC Center for Heart and Vascular Research and our fundraising team leader. Her research lab studies heart failure and other heart diseases.

Dr. Anderson is a cardiologist and researcher at UNMC. His research lab studies atherosclerosis.

Dr. Barrett is a surgeon in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. His research lab studies the body’s response to trauma to inform better treatment strategies for trauma patients.

Dr. Subramanyan is Chief, Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery, Children's Nebraska and Endowed Chair in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at UNMC. Dr. Subramanyans research lab studies congenital heart diseases.

Dr. Zimmerman is the Vice Chair for Education in the department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology at UNMC. His research lab studies heart and vascular disease.
